"I was hanging out with my friend when she told me something strange. She needed to go, because she had 'an appointment with God'. I was very curious, so when she asked me to come with her to the prayer room, I went. There I saw my own name written on a paper on the wall and I asked my friend why this was. She told me she was praying for me that I might come to know Christ. I didn't want to have anything to do with such a thing, but during the hour I was in the prayer room, I accepted Christ as my saviour. I can't tell how lifechanging that experience was for me!

Since that day I have been back in the 24/7 prayer room and God showed Himself to me in amazing and wonderful ways. You see, I'm a child that grew up with a father who abused me and I believed I could never experience the love of a father. But God showed me otherwise. I felt so loved by Him and I experience such a peaceful feeling every day because I know my Heavenly Father is always with me. I had never thought this was something I could experience too."
